Librarius 2000 PlusI developed Librarius 2000 as my A Level Computer Science project. The original project was in Visual Basic 4. In 2001 I ported the system to Visual Basic 6 to enable it to take advantage of Windows' 32 bit features. The implementation demonstrates procedures for DAO, mail merge, SQL results displaying and database maintenance among others. The underlying database support was coded with neither wizards nor data controls and is thus a good demonstration of the raw power of DAO.The system documentation is also comprehensive including detailed treatment of: InfoQuest was my final year university project. The project focuses on designing an extensible system that is vendor independent with respect to the choice of the underlying database system. The requirements analysis section is structured to identify the core requirements of different potential users. The design proposes a generic solution with core functionality that may then be tailored to the specific requirements of a client through configuration and extension.InfoQuest was my final year university project. You should be able to install the system on any system that runs 32 bit though I have not yet tested it on Windows Vista. An uninstaller is also provided to aid the removal of the application after you are through with it. The system also includes a context sensitive online help system. I should however point out that the user manual is still probably the best starting point and is worth downloading. DownloadsYou must read and accept the terms of use before downloading. Also, please note that the installer does not include VB Runtimes. For information on the reasons and implications of this, please refer to the VB Runtimes page.
